The festival as a craft activity
DIY Ganesha kits turn Ganesh Chaturthi preparation into a family or classroom workshop. Kits typically include 500g of natural Shadu clay, two or three sachets of food-grade natural dye (turmeric, beetroot, indigo), a small modak mould, and an illustrated step-by-step guide.
Most kits are designed for first-time makers and finish in 60 to 90 minutes. The completed idol is fully eco-friendly and can be home-immersed in a bucket.
